First glimpse of the cover for the first issue of Paradise Found written by Sean Mason, illustrated by Silvano Beltrano and coloured by Andrew Orton. Inspired by my own Paradise Towers. The kickstarter launch is in April.
A Zoom conversation about Who and related topics with my chum Jessica Martin organised by Fantom Films in aid of the Theatre Support Fund is taking place on Sunday 7th March at 7 pm.
A fabulous promo for our upcoming book on Brian Desmond Hurst. I worked on Brian's Memoirs with him in the 70s and am delighted they are now being published as part of this bumper tribute to his extraordinary life and career beautifully put together by Caitlin Smith.
I had a very enjoyable time on the evening of Tuesday 9th chatting with members of The Scriptwriters @ Co group. Many thanks to Suzanna Cardash for organising and chairing. They were a lovely group and it's nice to be told I am "warm and encouraging" and "knowledgeable and charming." Well, at least on this occasion. The recording of the chat is available here.
Robert Shearman has kindly tweeted this comment on The World and His Wife:
"Strongly recommended. Surprising, engrossing, and enormous fun."
Paradise Towers is back in the recently announced Season 24 Dr Who bluray collection.
Tardis Magazine No 2 has just been published to raise funds for Mind. Edited by Robbie Dunlop, it contains an article by me and the characters from Paradise Towers and Greatest Show are all over the cover designed by the talented Ryan Aplin. Quite a few of the other articles also concern my two Who stories. Available via Ebay
Lots of very favourable responses to this monologue including one on Twitter from Dame Sian herself:
"I recorded this wholehearted, moving story by Stephen Wyatt from home during lockdown. It was wonderful to be directed again by Martin Jenkins."
